We also provide a range of pre and post paper handling solutions for continuous-feed print engines from Hunkeler of Switzerland, including unwinders, rewinders, rotary cutting systems, dynamic perforators, and inspection systems.

Pre-Owned

Standard offers a range of pre-owned finishing options. All pre-owned solutions are refurbished and inventory is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Continuous Feed Solutions

Hunkeler develops and supplies innovative solutions for continuous feed paper processing via modular, high performance systems that present paper to the digital press and then further process the printed paper through to the end product.

Perfect Binding

Shorter runs, faster turn-arounds. Standard Horizon Perfect Binders are quality engineered for single-person operation. From 1-up to 6,000 superior quality perfect bound books per hour.

Saddlestitching

Bridging the production gap between existing flat sheet collating / bookletmaking systems and conventional high-volume saddlestitching lines. Eliminates signature folding as offset or digitally printed flat-sheet signatures are fed from the collator to produce true saddlestitched booklets with full bleed trimming.

Bookletmaking

Standard's bookletmaking solutions combine unmatched operating speeds, easy-to-use touch-screen controls for end-to-end automation, and expandability up to 6 towers for unparalleled productivity and application flexibility.

Sheet Feeding

Standard Horizon sheet feeders provide functions such as cover feeding, sheet insert, variable page count, bleed trimming, and creasing for digital printing, and can also be connected with Standard’s bookletmaking and saddlestitching solutions to process both digital and offset print through one efficient system.

Folding

Standard AF-Series floor model folders include advance set-up automation, including gap settings, through a user-friendly color touchscreen control panel. Store up to 200 jobs in memory with set-ups accomplished in as little as 15 seconds.

Die Cutting

Feeding, die cutting, and separating in one pass. Die-cut and kiss-cut simultaneously. Dual magnetic cylinders make it perfect for boxes, pocket folders and light packaging.

Slitting & Creasing

Standard's slitting and creasing solutions can slit, gutter cut, edge trim, cross-cut, perforate, and crease in one pass. Print mark registration adjusts for digital print image shift from sheet-to-sheet.

Cutting & Trimming

Standard's cutting and trimming solutions offer rugged construction, precise cutting accuracy, and absolute reliability. Cutting widths up to 25.1". Smooth, friction-free surfaces and illuminated cut lines for easy operation.

Tracking & Inspection

Tracking and inspection solutions to identify printing and content errors. Check the quality and content of printed pages in terms of colors, positions, contours, smearing, jet-outs etc. State-of-the-art digital camera technology scans the entire web width.

Finishing Automation Workflow

Standard's workflow software solutions provide automatic machine setup, barcoded job tickets, the ability to save and recall recurring jobs, job record data for accounting/analysis, and the ability to monitor job status.

Collating

Collating solutions featuring Horizon's unique rotary suction feeding system, which operates effectively on a wide range of stocks. User-friendly operation by color touchscreen or wireless remote. Accessories include receiving trays, paper joggers, stackers, accumulators, stitchers/folders, and face trimmers.

Digital Duplicating

Standard digital duplicating systems produce low-cost copies with true 600 x 600 dpi printing combined with the latest innovations in ink and master technology. 11" x 17" format sets the pace for short and medium print runs with press-like quality.

Jogging

Standard jogging solutions make duplicating and print finishing easier to handle. Jog up to 3.7" lift of paper in a vertical or horizontal position to suit your operating requirements.

Padding

Standard Horizon padding provide professional quality binding up to 1.6" thick. Production rates up to 180 cycles per hour and easy operation via icon-based color touchscreen.
