Standard and Hunkeler will maintain their factory-direct relationship to deliver finishing solutions for roll-fed inkjet presses in 2026 and beyond. Together, we will continue to work with our partners and mutual customers to deliver Hunkeler solutions paired with Horizon equipment. In October, Standard represented Horizon and Hunkeler equipment at PRINTING United 2025 in Orlando, FL. We showcased and demonstrated over 20 individual post-press finishing solutions in our 5,000 square feet of exhibit space, the largest display of finishing at the show. Additionally, Standard worked with our printer vendor and pre-post partners on pre-printed applications that ran live in our booth and partner booths during the event.

Premier Printing, a printing, display, apparel, promotional goods, and fulfillment services company based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, installed the first Horizon CABS 4000 Perfect Binding line in Canada. The system consists of an MG-600 Twelve-pocket Signature Gatherer, CBF Digital Book Block Feeder, SB-09 Nine-clamp Perfect Binder, HT-1000V Three-knife Trimmer, and iCE LiNK, Horizon’s cloud-based bindery control system.

HP-Standard Customer Stays at Forefront of Technology
Sun Print Solutions, based in West Valley City, Utah, is a pioneer in direct mail, digital printing, packaging, fulfillment, and more. Standard Horizon BBS-56 Roll-fed Book Block Solution Makes N. American Debut
The Standard Horizon BBS-56 Roll-fed Book Block Solution made its North American debut earlier this year at our Finishing 360 open house. This plowfold book block-making system is designed for short- to medium-run production and can be configured with a Horizon perfect binder and trimmer for a complete roll-to-perfect bound book solution operating at speeds of up to 800 books per hour. We are welcoming partners and our mutual customers to visit Standard’s Andover, MA, demonstration center for in-person, hands-on demonstrations. Standard Joins HP at Dscoop Edge Long Beach
Standard Horizon was a proud partner of Dscoop Edge Long Beach. At the event, we demonstrated a variety of automated Standard Horizon finishing solutions, including the BQ-300 Perfect Binder and the HT-300 Three-Side Trimmer, which were used to bind and trim book blocks printed on an HP Indigo press. These solutions complement both HP Indigo sheet-fed presses and, when paired with the Standard Hunkeler pre- and post-portfolio, roll-fed presses like the HP PageWide Advantage 2200.
Standard Hosted Annual Finishing 360 Open House in May
The event brought together customers, partners, and industry professionals from across the US and Canada to Standard’s state-of-the-art demonstration center. During the two-day event, Standard offered hands-on, personalized equipment demonstrations and high-level tours of Hunkeler and Horizon finishing lines.
