Screen-Standard customer Southeastern Printing is a commercial printer located in Hialeah, FL. At Printing United 2025, they spoke about how investing in inkjet helped them address the labor shortage and implement variable data production. Equipment like the Screen Truepress JET 520HD+ and the Horizon AFV-566FKT fully automated folder support Southeastern Printing as it looks to be more responsive to changing customer demands.
Standard started the year by launching a redesigned corporate website featuring a more modern, dynamic design and an improved user experience. The redesigned website introduces the future of the Standard Finishing brand around the theme of “The Power of Smart Finishing.”
We are excited to share that Standard is now supporting the integration of new pre/post partners, including Tecnau and EMT, with Horizon equipment. Together, we are offering our mutual customers access to complete roll-fed finishing that best meets their application and business needs.
Please reach out to Johan or Katelyn with any questions on these new partnerships.
Standard knows that the future of print is driven by automation and next-generation workflow solutions. Horizon’s iCE LiNK Postpress Management System helps our mutual customers realize this vision through production management across multiple finishing devices, delivering a higher level of operational efficiency. The best part, iCE LiNK can be accessed from anywhere using the cloud, so customers can see exactly what’s happening in real-time, even if they are not on the production floor.

Standard and Hunkeler will maintain their factory-direct relationship to deliver finishing solutions for roll-fed inkjet presses in 2026 and beyond. Together, we will continue to work with our partners and mutual customers to deliver Hunkeler solutions paired with Horizon equipment. Standard will also collaborate with other leading pre- and post-vendors to offer integrated Horizon solutions.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.
In October, Standard represented Horizon and Hunkeler equipment at PRINTING United 2025 in Orlando, FL. We showcased and demonstrated over 20 individual post-press finishing solutions in our 5,000 square feet of exhibit space, the largest display of finishing at the show. Additionally, Standard worked with our printer vendor and pre-post partners on pre-printed applications that ran live in our booth and partner booths during the event.
We are excited to share that Screen and Standard will expand their partnership to include Horizon solutions. At PRINTING United in October, Johan Laurent and Katelyn Pinch from Standard joined Screen for its kickoff meeting, where we shared an introduction to Horizon equipment. We look forward to working with everyone at Screen and encourage you to reach out to our team with any questions.
Screen and Standard partnered with author, entrepreneur, and business executive in the commercial print industry, Roger P. Gimbel, EDP, to produce 200 copies of his latest book “Dream Big, Act Now”, which were given away in Standard’s booth during a book signing at PRINTING United. The book bodies were printed on the Screen Truepress JET 520NX AD, and covers were printed on the Truepress JET 520HD+. The covers were sheeted on the Hunkeler Roll-To-Cut/Stack Solution, and glued book blocks were produced on the Horizon BBS-56 Roll-fed Book Block Solution. Book blocks and covers were bound and trimmed inline on the Horizon BQ-500 Perfect Binder and HT-1000V Three-knife Trimmer.
In this edition, Standard highlights two customer success stories and provides a look at what’s ahead for Standard in 2026.

Standard’s Johan Laurent and Katelyn Pinch joined the BMI community for the recent Book Manufacturing Mastered in NYC, and Virginia DaCosta caught up with our colleagues north of the border at the BMI Canadian Roundtable in August. We enjoyed the opportunities to connect with partners and customers on the state of the industry and explore its future direction.
