AFC-746F B1 Pallet-Feed Folder

The Standard Horizon AFC-746F B1 Pallet-Feed Folder includes advanced set-up automation through a user-friendly color touch-screen control panel that displays all common fold formats and sheet sizes for easy selection.

Fully automated adjustments: The folder features quick changeover and fully automated setup with up to 47 automated adjustments including in-feed, roller gap, buckle fold, and knife-fold sections.
Unparalleled fold flexibility: The AFC-746F has 6 buckle plates and handles sheet sizes up to 29.1” x 43.3” and as small as 8.27” x 11.695”. The system also offers 20 pre-set fold patterns with a programmable memory for up to 200 different jobs.
Improved slitter shaft removal: The AFC-746F includes a 47″ pallet pile feeder with suction head and a new, ergonomically friendly slitter shaft removal system which allows the operator to remove the perforation shaft automatically for easier blade setting.

CGU-50 Gluing Unit

Can produce 8 or 12-page glued booklets and direct mail applications.

MKU-54T Mobile Knife Unit

The MKU-54T is equipped with buckles below the knife, and is capable of letter folding after an 8-page cross fold.

PST-44 Press Stacker

899 pounds of pressure is applied to produce flat signatures and folded pieces. The 1st roller removes air and the 2nd compresses the signature to remove bulk.

PSX-56 Press Stacker

Stacked signatures or booklets are delivered to a comfortable height for easy packaging. 1, 2, or 3-up for efficient production, and rigid rollers apply 1.2 tons of pressure for crisp, tight, and flat folds.

FP-74 Front Perforation Unit

Permits perforating before folding. A hardened blade drum provides highly precise micro-perforation. A skip perforation unit (FSP-74) is also available.

KT-ET6 Edge Trim Device Below 1st Knife

Segmented rollers below the 1st knife come standard, attach the KT-ET6 to edge trim the closed side of 8 or 12-page glued signatures.

KT-ST6 Strip Trim Device Below 1st Knife

Strip trimming in the cross fold section can be performed using slitters for multiple-up jobs. Stripped width can be adjusted in 1 mm intervals from 3 mm to 10 mm.
