Also unveiled was Hunkeler’s latest innovations in high-efficiency, high-speed unwinders and rewinders, digital cut-sheet finishing, integrated web monitoring, and document tracking and reporting. Standard manufacturer Horizon also had a large presence in the finishing arena in partnership with Hunkeler, showing end-to-end solutions from roll to finished product.
6,500 visitors from 100 nations traveled to Lucerne for Innovationdays 2019. Despite continual growth, Innovationdays is still built around the intimate and engaging atmosphere that has been a hallmark of the show since its inception. “We’re really proud of the way the show has retained its unique identity,” explained Stefan Hunkeler, President, Hunkeler AG. “Innovationdays allows attendees to examine the latest developments in our industry in a very concentrated way, in a compact, easy-to-navigate venue. We always push to emphasize current trends and developments, as well as how these affect real world production environments, so that our visitors can maximize their opportunities to discover, learn, and share.”
